No one has helped me on the last two questions. This site used to respond when others asked for help.?

At some point I must have become a member of Microsoft Windows XP. When that program opens my computer the first screen demands my user name and password before I can even get to my home page. I really need to delete this page for good but, being a computer illiterate with the IQ of a kumquat, I don't know how to do that. Please help.

Go to Start %26gt; Control Panel %26gt; User Accounts %26gt; Change the way users log on or off.

Who cares who dares?
Reply:Dont know much myself, but I think you have to go to my computer, start menu and delete it there. Hope it works...good luck.
Reply:well go into your web browser and click on tools then click on internet options then the general tab and enter in a different home page like Yahoo.com or click use blank whichever you want.. I would also clear out the internet cache files as ell as the history while I was there.

If your referring to loging into windows itself you can just log in as guest or any known account then click start then run and type in control userpasswords2 and hit enter then choose the administrator password and click reset password to change it to anything you like.
Reply:You cannot become a "member" of Windows XP. Windows XP is your computer's operating system.....and its expensive...here... http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d...
