How many fruit (or other food producing plants) do u have in ur yard?

We have a coconut palm, a passionfruit vine, a mango tree, a pawpaw (papaya) tree, a black mulberry tree, a kumquat tree, an orange tree and of course vegetables in the garden (broccoli, rhubarb, strawberries, tomatoes, green beans and aloe vera). Hehe, I'd be really interested to find out what you all have!

Oh you remind me of my mum! (That's a good thing.)

When I was growing up in Queensland, in the heart of Brisbane, we had macadamia trees; passionfruit vines; two paw paw trees (because you need one of each sex to get the fruit); strawberries in a line along the fence; mulberry trees with the deep red fruit to eat and the green berries to get the red off your hands (and leaves to feed the silkworms); a custard apple bush; 2 banana trees; an aloe vera plant that was essential in the summer months for sun burn; lettuce and cherry tomatoes; parsley and mint that flavoured the Sunday Roast; and a mango tree that I'd climb up into and grab the fruit from the tree as I shared my girlfriends' latest secrets.

Carrots, beans, pumpkin and turnips were all in the backyard and often the quality was pretty bad but we'd pick out the best.

We also had the biggest Jaccaranda tree with those dangly boomerang shaped things in non-flowering months that we used to throw at each other. And the bush with red tulip shaped flowers that we used to suck the honey from, was a source of entertainment as we waited for our next turn at whatever game we were playing in the front yard.

Thanks for allowing me to ramble on and remember my childhood.
Reply:Lets see..... I hope you have time to read .... I have a golden delicious apple tree, potatoes .. two beds, watermelon, pumpkin, tomatoes, cukes, chili peppers, onions, cants, cotton (non-edible), nasturtiums, radish, spinach, sunflowers for the birds. I also have many herbs and flowers.

I would love to have the trees that you have though!

Thanks for letting me brag a little!
