Fortunella margarita ( like all Citrus-plants ), if propagated from seeds without grafting needs 8-10, sometimes up to 15 years to flower and fruit.

It prefers loose soil with pH 6,1 to 6,5, needs soft water ( rain water ), hates over-watering or to stand in water, needs sun in summer and winter ( not less than 700 Lux ), but not more than about 4 to 8 degrees Celsius in winter.

It doesn`t tolerate draft.

Might be the best, to ask the people in that garden centre, how to graft them and if there is a special fertilizer available, which brings them to flower.

Or to have patience some years longer.

Hope, you understand my bad English and wish you good luck!
